This was not my first time to contact the novel related to spy, but it is my first time the content is combined with the two-face spy. Most of the Taiwanese are rarely familiar with the books that are between personal and country. People always get confused by the Nationality Identity in this region. It`s not difficult to discover in this society once we just take attention to the attitude when the public hustle and bustle daily. This novel is written by Ha Jin, the writing style is humane and graceful to describe the world in which our emotions can be impacted through his words. However, the Chinese version is fascinating, too. I always admire the Chinese translator to make the Chinese version pretty well.
While people live longer ,we should get much more consideration about the society. Nonetheless, we would like to accept the reality rather than against the believe other think. The responsibility of each generation is diverse. How to tell a person who need water gave him an gold? It was not a trap,it was a mind set to manipulate the receiver.
